Greetings From Chitwan Tharu Village !!!
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. Wish you have an wonderful days ahead !!!
It is a village to people that have lived in the valley for a long time but is still for tourists. The have a cultural center where they do some of their traditional dances and that was really good, fun for the whole family

Hi Jen, I have been to Chitwan twice, staying at a resort in Sauraha on one side of the Rapti River. Opposite is the National Park. I highly recommend Jungle Safari Resort and my wonderful guide Narayan Adhikari. Last year's earthquake hit 30 mins after my arrival from Kathmandu and one day after I finished trekking in the Everest region. I was lucky.
I spent extra time here and bought gifts for my guides young children. I always take books and stories of Australian animals when I travel as gifts for children I meet along the way. I was surprised to find a small shop selling balls, pencils, books and some toys in Sauraha and I did buy things for the children. Such excitement when I invited them to choose a gift. You will have the most AMAZING time here and in the other places you are visiting.
