Looks very impressive from the outside, but badly maintained and cheaply done inside. What a disappointment

Located in Banjar district, far away from the city crowded. Take a main road to Singaraja and you'll pass this monastery. Actually this Vihara is very authentic, almost all the statue is only Buddha and almost no incense smoke, very quiet and feel so sacred. No ticket entry, nothing make you spend money, only a donation if you like, put... More

A beautiful and peaceful place with lovely lawns. It was raining on and off when we got there so it was cooler and our umbrella helped us when the sun came out.

This was the best temple I visited in Bali. There's a lot of stairs and this area of the island gets really hot during the day so bring water. It's difficult to get here by yourself so hire a taxi to take you here. Not many people visit this temple so it's very quiet. Very peaceful place with nice views.

When staying in Lovina area a must is to visit this temple. Very peaceful with good views of area. Deceptive from front as did not appear to be of much size. Nicely surprised once entered. Relaxing stroll through gardens. We were sure one statue was actually a monk meditating. Follow this up with a trip to Holy Spring just up... More

I spent 10 days at the temple on a meditation retreat, the temple is beautiful with views of the mountains and the sea. It is open to visitors with a donation on entry.Visitors are only allowed to access certain areas especially when retreat is current. the gardens are well kept with lush plants/ponds / mango trees, etc. For visitors please...
