In March 2018, this is fenced off and there is construction going on as they are adding a new station behind the old building. It requires being dropped off out on the street and walking a long ways through construction tunnels to get to your...More

The main station for train long distance travel is in final stages of renovation so its messy and noisy as constriction work is still happening down stairs. The train lobby is complete and looks clean and modern.

This station has an easy to find main platform with only 2 tracks south bound and north bound. Also, it was easy to change the departure time by going to the ticketing counter even with just a few hours before departure. Friendly service and no...More

The old Taichung station, which is no longer functioning because the railroad is now elevated, has a lot of history particularly with its Japanese style architecture. The old and new station are connected - there’s really not much to see at either. The new one...More

The station is right in the middle of town, and has lots of amenities. There is a large building project going on at present, however, which made it a bit less convenient than normally. It's easy to get to and from the HSR station from...More

My fiancee and I were shocked to find out that it is so confusing for us to figure out which train to take as the info displayed were too complex for tourists like us to understand. A good train system should be as straight forward...More

Due to construction works the new part of the station looks very new and modern while the front looks dated and old. A huge area and maybe because of construction works me and my friend were having trouble finding each other.
