Exceptional Dive Centre.
As an instructor myself, I can tell that having the quality of equipment, boat, pool and spaces in general is hard to find.
Either if you are trying for you first time, starting your open water or already experience diver, YBD will be great.
This is a really hard working team, they know what they do, very young and festive team, taking care of every detail. And special thanks to Jinn for accommodating everything for my wife's birthday with some special extra long dives.
At the time of our visit (July 2024), the corals were experiencing massive bleaching in some areas but still the dive sites have so much to offer, just pay attention and go slow ;).
We spotted several nudis; bamboo sharks, some humpheads, barracudas and many more.
Totally recommended even if you are experienced and the conditions are not the best, YBD team will be a great host.

After so many years from the latest dive, we could have not have had a better experience. Of course, the magic Perenthians setting plays its part but it is the YBD crew, organization and logistics that made the diving really memorable and fun. A big shout to Lynn, our dive master for coping with us, Bridget for her amazing underwater pictures, Yuka and Jinn for welcoming us so warmly. Amazing and confortable boats and boat crew. We are leaving with the feeling of wanting more diving. Last but definitively not least 😊... we felt at all times safety standards were very high and quality of the equipment excellent. Definitively reccomended experience if coming to this little paradise on Earth.

A Padi certified dive centre based at Perhentian Marriott Resort and Spa. Very friendly and helpful dive manager, Jinn and his teammates Josh, Su-Yeon, Suzie and the gang. They are very professional and well trained dive instructors who will make you feel safe underwater. We went out on a luxury catamaran to the dive sites. The crew on the catamaran was super nice. I will look forward to come diving with YBD team very soon.
