The inly downside is getting down there as the steps to and from the beach are a killer ... but its 100% worth it once you are there!!!!

You've got to make the time to visit this little community on the Bukit. Cheerful locals, great restaurants, beautiful blue ocean and a tropical vibe along the local warungs on the beach. Plenty of great spots to watch the sunset too.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu and walked through the lanes to the beach.
The start of the route is a bit hairy tight bends plenty of traffic mostly going slow.
Once you get into the village there plenty of watering holes and refreshments.

Yes private driver, or Blue meter taxi. This will cost approx 150,000rp from the airport. (approx $15 dollars) There are 2 entrances to the beach of Bingin. The easiest and less likely to get lost is get the driver to take you to "The Temple Lodge" accommodation. This is the furthest they can drive.. a few paces in front you will find the path to the stairs. Approx 140 stairs but easy walk down and the view is to die for. A driver should not charge you more than approx $50 for a whole day therefore can wait. But it is easy enough if you taxi there to get a lift back out. You just need to pop into any of the accom. and ask to organise a driver or the little A - Mart selling drinks have a driver
