This is one of the biggest science museums in the world. You will probably need a few visits to visit everything. Highly recommended.

The museum is big with lots of exhibits but many of them aren't working properly. It is also an expensive place to visit with kids as the entry fee doesn't cover any of the interactive displays which all attract a fee of $30 per activity.

This was one of the better science and technology museums we have been to. My personal favourites here were the galleries dedeicated to the history of telecommunications in Taiwan, and the industrial history of Taiwan. There was also a good presentation on climate change. There were lots of interactive exhibits for adults and children. Allow a full day to see everything, but you can see most of it in 3-4 hours. Very worthwhile. Most of the exhibits have descriptions in both English and Chinese.

Spent the morning there New Years day. Fine as an adult but this place is really for kids - highly interactive and really well done for them to dive into science. Bit out of way and really either bus from MRT or short cheap taxi.

I cannot believe that I spent the whole day there and only saw less than 1/3 of the whole museum. The quality is impressively good and very educational. There are many daily-life applications of technology illustrated. I learned the industrial history of Taiwan and was very touched. I did not like the story style of the dinosaur exhibit. All other things that I saw are quite good.

I was there for two hours and only managed to see a small fraction of the exhibits. Many of the exhibits are interactive and some are competitive nature . An excellent place to bring children here for some fun and learning.

This museum houses many exhibitions, each with its unique ticket office and ticket price. For Ghiblis animation exhibition, the temporary ticket office is somewhere in the middle of the ground floor. This exhibition is good enough for those who are not able to visit Ghiblis Museum in Japan.

My buddy and I went one morning, and it was probably the worst museum experience we've ever had. Poorly funded, organized, and presented. Nothing interesting or especially science-y or techy in the museum. At one point, we saw miniature displays of cuisines from different countries...technology how? Just save your time and money and go to other attractions in Kaohsiung.

National Science and Technology Museum is a very interesting place to visit. The lay-out is large and there is a lot to see and experience. The only draw-back is that you have to pay for nearly every separate exhibition.

Big museums with many exhibitions for kids. My kids spent whole day in the museum, but only finished 2/3, and want to stay more.

NT $100 per person. The 3D movie is separate at another NT $150.
Plan to be there for 2-3 hours if you look at most of the exhibits.
