I went to Jawali Ji Temple. It is one of the 51 Shaktipitha and Hindus believe that a visit to Jwala Devi temple in Kangra leads to end of their struggle and commencement of happy days. It is great place to go.

We come here every year. The journey by autorickshaw to the temple is always exciting. This time my 9 year old was more excited on the steep road and was very curious to know from where the fire was coming.

Very very peaceful and holy worship place.maa is present in the form of Jawala(fire flame).Raja Akbar tried his level best to stop flaming by diverting river to burning dlame but he surprised that his efforts are useless.

I am not sure which jwaladevi temple you are looking for in Google since there are many. however, one in kangra district, near dharamshala is correctly marked. the coordinates are repeated here 31.8753096, 76.3239436.

Hello, You can come from Pathankot to Chandigarh. Then from there you can you can visit Chintpurni, next Jwalaji, then Kangraji and then Chamunda devi temple. You can stay at Kangra and then continue the trip to Dharamsala... More

Its approx 65 kms...a diversion of 12-14 kms from the highway...u ll need minimum 1 hour or more depending on d devotee crowd...
