I just discovered this site by pure chance, I didn't plan on visiting it.
It just happened after visiting the Ox 77 site as it is situated just a few minutes from there.

I was completely alone.
No one there, just these dark stones and this destroyed tank.
And the opened battlefield in front of me.
Me and my thoughts.
Such a strong experience that I'd recommend to everyone to be there and to reflect on what could have happened in 1973 if it were not for a few heroes...

On a small volcanic hill that was the site of a heroic battle in the Yom Kippur war you will find an impressive monument, which is worth stopping by.

The Slingshot experience at Tel Saki with Yaakov was AMAZING! I have already recommended it to 5 groups that will be in Israel in 2020. The story of the battle was moving and inspirational, the activity was top notch, and Yaakov is an amazing speaker and Zionist.

I found this site accidentally while exploring Rte. 98 in the Golan. We saw a huge flag at half mast and turned around to investigate. What we found was a wonderful tribute to the fallen and survivors of the Tel Saki battle. It was quite sobering and makes it very clear how close the borders are and how easily they can be breached. It is a somber and loving tribute...very much worth the stop if you love Israel.

It is located in the Southerner Golan Heights near Ramat Magshimim. A unique story that everyone can appreciate. It tells the story a handful of 20 year old guys who stood together against immense odds and with incredible determination and perseverance saved a nation.
The site includes a unique memorial with 32 pictures of the fallen young men, a restored bunker where the warriors took cover, a huge ( the largest we have seen!) flagpole and flag.
On top of the new bunker, which is easily accessible via well constructed metal steps, one can see the beautiful landscape of the southern Golan, as well as the neighboring Syrian village.
If you wish to have a tour guide in English, we recommend Yaakov. +972508432379

This is a truly amazing site, consisting of a big bunker, dug into a hill, overlooking the Syrian border.
So extreme acts of bravery took place here in the Yom Kippur war and the memorial at the site pays tribute to them.
You can go up the hill and watch the gorgeous view, as well as enter the bunker and discover an entire city dug into the hill - absolutely amazing! Just make sure to bring some flashlights (or cell phones).
