The most beautiful, quietest beach in Ireland. Walking this strand is the best therapy ever. Solitude, an odd hello and the crashing Atlantic waves. Paradise.

A most amazing clean safe beach. Beautiful scenery. Easy access. Children are safe and can be let run around and play in sand dunes.

Stunning beach with TRUELY breathtaking surrounding. Running along side Donegal airport strip the view of this beach is the reason Donegal Airport was voted the second most scenic airport Approach in the world.

This area of Donegal has strings of beautiful white-sand beaches, but Carrickfinn is the jewel in the crown. If you land at the airport, don't turn left for civilization, turn right and saunter up just a few meters to the carpark and beyond the dunes...More

Visited Donegal with a group of friends recently and was lucky to be staying near this beautiful beach. It's easily over a mile long, is spotlessly clean and has great waves for body boarding. It's a blue flag beach which means it has good parking...More

Can't go wrong here, as long as you can walk comfortably, you will enjoy this beach. Would love to visit in another season.
