In the same complex as Baclayon Church of the Immaculate Conception, though it is separate in the sense that the museum charges an entrance fee and the church does not.

We visited this on an excursion. The place is disappointing at best being mostly a place under repair. The museum is barely that; old artifacts but nothing worth visiting and the guide was not very knowledgeable with poor English.

The cathedral itself was under repair and not open for viewing. One of the curators told me they hoped to have it opened by this December. The museum itself was a varied collection of poorly maintained artifacts on the second floor. There were spaces between...More

I always appreciate historical attractions but this place is very uninteresting since it has nothing to see, nothing to do and look more like an abandoned warehouse although being under maintenance. I am disappointed with the way they preserve antiques in here: dusty and pathetic,...More

Out of the 40 churches, i visited at least 10 of Bohol's churches after the earthquake which damaged most of the churches. Sadly, almost all of them are being restored but the grandeur and solemnity of the churches were very apparent.

The museum is attached to the church. Many old belongings to the church people over 500 years. Also many documents since 1565 kept in a closet. No photos allowed inside

The Museum is attached to the Baclayon Church. The church was closed when we visited so we went to the museum. It is rather dusty and drab but it has some nice religious artifacts. There is a pleasant garden in the back.

It is very easy to stop and visit this special church, and they need help in 2016 and beyond to gather enthusiasm to continue with repairs from the earthquake that hit them especially hard. It costs less than one US Dollar for official entry. There...More

This old church and museum was destroyed during a strong quake. Now they are trying to restore it, so that the next generation will be able to see this wonderful heritage.

The church and museum are attached and the church is currently undergoing some renovation. You can walk into part of the church, but a large portion is off limits. You can take photos while in the church, but no photos are allowed to be taken...More
