You can see the dome as you are approaching the site. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The dome is being renovated and there is scaffolding everywhere but you can still walk around and admire the architecture

The mausoleum's dome, or gonbad, is over 150 feet high and is the highlight of the complex. Covered in turquoise, the dome is a fine example of early Islamic architecture.
