I was very disappointed by the staff and service at the Hutt City i-Site in Laings Road today. I saw it on Huttvalleynz.com that they have bicycles for hire at this i-site, so I took my 2 teenagers and drove to the i-site today at around 11am.The staff member who greeted us said that their bikes can be hired and... Thank you for your comments, I do apologize for the experience you received as we do prize ourselves of great customer service but fell short this time. We will look at what we can do in the future for customers that only want to hire a bike for an hour. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. More

While passing through the Visitor Information Centre when driving was very helpful for us to make decisions as to where we would visit while traveling through New Zealand by car. The people were so friendly and very helpful. We just happen to come across after stopping at a nearby lake at the time.

A nice welcome with a very good display of Kiwi handicrafts and artwork. One or two things were quite interesting but some of it reminded me of the Womens Institute. Was not very impressed with a picture made of condoms!

The staff at the I-Site were extremely welcoming and well informed. I needed directions to get to a place I lived in my childhood, and they were most obliging.

Really helpful, friendly, well informed staff. We got there just as they were closing but there was no pressure to hurry. First class service. (Pity Lower Hutt itself is such a dump though!)

Thank sheila c
