This is a nice, unassuming monument on Umatac Bay. I like visiting historical sites like this and imagining how it looked at the time it's memorializing. I recommend a stop here.

C1 + CG ( 2016.03.28 ) My family visited there on the southern driving tour, and stop for rest. There had beautiful view and good atmosphere. Looking and feeling this area was good. There was good point to rest on southern Guam driving tour.

Umatac Bay has a 'Magellan Monument' - I was excited to learn that Magellan stopped here and was anxious to see the monument. Unfortunately this is rather disappointing pyramid shaped concrete structure.
