We came here hoping to do a kayak but it was so expensive. We just took a boat and saw the various marble rocks. They were nice and despite the rocky waves, we had a nice time. We used the tour company Turismo Polux.

This sight definitely needs sun to bring out all it's shades of colors (water and rock). It's simply amazing. The boat ride is quite adventurous and prepare to get wet. There is a spot you can book a tour that is past the village (driving south) that apparently is not as bumpy as it's getting to the marble canvas from... More

It's one of the places in the world from a category "must seen". Don't pay a lot for agents in Puerto Rio Tranquillo, if you have a ranted car, or have selfmade trip. Just 5 kilometers by the road in direction of Chile Chico and you can rent a bark for a family, take part in join trip with other... More

I visited the Marble Caves and Cathedral in November 2016. Not easily reachable. I did it from Puerto Rio Tranquilo, which seems to be the closest village to the caves. I flew to Balmaceda airport, stayed for the night in Coyhaique (50 minutes by minivan from the airport, there are minivans waiting for passangers of each flight, I paid 5,000... More

This is a wonderful place, located in Lago General Carrera. It's worth to drive about four hours to get here, because of the beauty and peace that this place can give you.

Because the blue water reflects in the caves, this excursion is well worth it when it's clear weather. We paid 9000 peso's per person and were part of a 7 person group. You arrive at the caves after a 20 minute or so boat ride (no waves or anything) and you spend around 30-40 minutes at different caves. The boat... More
