Very touristic & quite some people in the motor boat - if you don't mind the $, go for a Kayaking trip. Check out the Glaciar Exploradores as well, it's a very safe glacier (the hardest is the boulder field before the glacier). Highly recommended for people without glacier experience...

You will never see something so spectacular again...and perhaps nobody will if climate change persists! Nature art at his maximum expression!!! Colors and forms simply astonishing!

A quick boat ride on Lago Gen Carrera from P. Rio Tranquillo takes you to these natural limestone formations. A bunch of operators right beside the highway offer the tours on small boats with 4-6 passengers (CLP 8,000). An ideal morning trip when the lake is calmer and the light accentuates the optics of the marble caves against the backdrop... More

The best way to see and appreciate these water eroded marmer rocks is by Kayak and in the early morning. We booked this tour through the hotel El Puesto. In total only 6 persons with the guides. The hotel manager took one tourist in her boat. We were well equipped with a stable double kayak and floating vests. Only the... More

Amazing marble caves. We took a tour on a small boat. 8000 pesos each lasted 1.5 hours. Not to be missed.

Drive about 5 km south on the Carretera Austral until you see a sign wi a couple of flags on the left of the road, and turn off there and drive down to the lake. There you can book a boat (or even canoes) to visit the Marble Caves, a highly unusual structure created by nature along the shores of... More

A group of three of us booked to kayak over to the Marble Caves with El Puesto Expediciones. We two guides for just the three of us, and they were great. The caves themselves are beautiful, and we had plenty of time to paddle around them and explore the different formations.
