Nice market to visit, lots of (overpriced) seafood for the tourists to consume. Seems much better to just stroll around, until we found a quaint shop selling tea (they claimed to be doing it since 1937). The elderly couple who run the place allow us...More

A must visit place if you want to indulge in fresh seafood. They also have shops that sell green tea and coffee beans, wagyu beef, japanese snacks, souvenir and sushi.

Good place for street food from 9AM to 6PM. That being said, we managed to get some cheap sashimi here as they were closing up, around 7PM.

Interesting market with some nice seafood and local fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately this market is very busy on weekends and as such I recommend you try to visit early on weekdays only

Different with outer market Tsukiji which was overly crowded, Kuromon market in Osaka was nicer in many ways. They have the freshest sea food, top quality, and in a more friendly environment. The subway station is only few steps away from the market. Love it...More

Head here for fresh seafood, selected by yourself and then cooked as you wait at prices that are relatively cheap as compared to places like Dotonbori

Hi, it has to be open. Public holiday is only the first of January. Opening hours are 9 am to 6 pm, usually, but some shops can open or close earlier or later.
