If you are in Dorset you really need to visit this part of England. The coast line here is beyond expectations and easy to get to. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were lots of shops on the way and plenty of places to eat and drink. The walk is not too strenuous although some of it is... More

Lulworth Cove is a nice variety on the coast path. It offers a chance to both walk the beach and climb the slopes for great views.

We used this walk and to be honest so do lots of dog walkers that DON'T clean up after their pets. It was a constant game of dodge the dog mess. Such a shame that they don't consider others. I would not recommend this for those with young children or those that aren't too used to some rough terrian either.

Morning coffee overlooking the cove or tea in the afternoon is a must take a book or paper and relax .Looking for fossils is a great way to spend an hour and listening to the sea wash up around your ankles.

This is a wonderful place with beautiful clear water. It feels and looks more Mediterranean than British. The only downside is the difficult commute from bigger cities so unless you have a car you may need to research in depth how to get there.

Took the footpath from the carpark to the viewpoint above Stair Hole then down into the cove and walked round under the cliffs on the shingle to the wooden staircase on the far side. Shingle walking very tiring so not for the less able. Turn right at the cliff top after ascending staircase and climbing steps cut into hillside. After... More

The weather wasn't that great and so I wasn't expecting it to be very busy. It was very very busy. Would recommend sensible shoes to get to the beach and going for the day. Stunning views and the beach was nice.
