The walk from Lulworth to Durdle Door is about a mile and very pleasant. The path up the hill from Lulworth looks more daunting than it actually is. Durdle Door is worth the walk, beautiful landmark. There is a coffee shop next to the holiday...More

Stunning steep walk from Lulworth Cove to the beach at Durdle Door. What more can you want. Maybe less wind and more sun but for a day in late October it was perfect and not very busy.

Lovely views of the cove and great for days out! Visited while on holiday it has changed and no longer allows vehicles to drive through the village you need to park and pay £4 for 0-2 hours.

This has been over commercialised and its just too busy. Min spend in the car park (which is huge) is £4 - way too much, not for us as we like things a little quieter for our walks on the beach.

Unfortunately I did not go there, as I thought it would be too much, with elderly mother in tow. I saw it was steep to get down to the beach. Hope you have a good day out though.

It should be possible provided the scooter can handle a moderate slope. From the car park a tarmac road leads down to the cafe at the entrance to the beach. From there you get a view of the cove. There is also a reasonably... More
