A sunny day in March

I would definitely recommend visiting this place for the first time on a sunny day NOT in the peak season. Went for my first time (lived in the area for 6.5 years) and there was a fair few people, any more and it would be starting to become overcrowded. YOU HAVE TO BE FIT. I struggled with the steps up... Durdle Door is a breathtaking and beautiful place to watch the sea crashing into the rocks and to marvel at the force of nature. Go early in the morning - before 9am to secure a good parking space and to take largely tourist free photographs on the beach - it does get very crowded here. You can then walk the... More

It's rocks and beach. You know, it's nice but what do you expect me to say? If you think you'd like to look, do.

Glad i visited to take some photos. Its a long walk back to the car park thats located next to the Holiday park. The walk down is uneven ground so you'll need decent shoes or boots. Once on the beach its just pebble, not a lot of sand. The Limestone Arch makes up for it though.

We love visiting here. A lovely walk down to the cove and then relaxing afterwards with some fish and chips followed by an ice cream. Then i had to visit the gift shop where you can pick up some gorgeous finds! Car park is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. We will be returning when were next in the... More

Unbelievably beautiful ! What has not been written about this superb national treasure? I chose to start at Lulworth Cove and walk along the steep coastal path for about a mile over to Durdle Door. 40 years ago I could achieve this without a problem. Now at 64 years of age the uphill leg was tough going but doable! Well... More

Fantastic place must see easy access with large car park nearby and food van. Short 15 min walk across coastal path to small seaside village

Stunning places on the Jurassic Coast. Lulworth Cove was shrouded in mist when we came but it was still amazing. You need to climb down 150 steps to get to Durdle Door but it was worth it. The steps are in good condition and not that bad. Don't miss it.

Absolutely amazing place to visit in this area. We took our dog for a walk to the beach, took us around 20 mins along the coastline from parking in the nearby village. Beautiful views all the way and great pebbled beach for a dog to play on. Definitely recommend:)
