This is a great and easy trail to navigate. The only difficult part about this trail is the steps that lead down into the canyon. The views are well worth it though!

Worth the stop. The park as a whole was mind blowing. Like looking at clouds and seeing something in them--this is looking at the monuments and seeing something in them all around you! Amount of time to visit depends on how many stops you want...More

The trailhead and viewpoint for Park Avenue is located along the park’s scenic road, 2.4 miles (3.9k) from the entrance station. The trail is an easy 1.0 mile (1.6k) “shuttle” hike, meaning a second car is stationed at the other end for the return, down...More

This hike has vast open spaces with beautiful views. The backdrop of those beautiful blue skies against the orange rocks is just perfect.

We arrived a little later than we hoped ( around 10:30) and hoped to walk the Park Ave hike – it's easy hike but it means you have to walk back to the same parking lot or have another person drive around to the pick...More

Our first introduction to this park and this trail was at dusk - wow wow wow! We were oohing and awwing at every turn. If you can visit for dusk and sunset, do it! You won't be disappointed. The rock is perfect for reflecting light.

The 1st trailhead for Park Avenue is 2.5 miles from the Visitors Center. There is a short paved trail to a viewpoint that provides absolutely fantastic views of Park Avenue and to the Courthouse. There is plenty of parking at the trailhead. From the viewpoint...More
