Just an amazing natural land formation! Well worth the short hike to the base of this double arch. My boys had a great time scrambling over the rocks at the base of this rock formation! It is also very close to the Windows formation.

We came here after doing the Devil's Garden Loop. Parking lot was pretty full around 1:30pm but we got lucky for a space and didn't have to wait long. Pretty easy .5 round trip hike. You get to scramble up rocks once you get underneath the arches. There were a lot of people hanging out there, so it was hard... More

Double Arch was my personal favourite location in all of Arches. The arches are massive in scale and as they soar overhead, you can scramble up the rock below and gaze upward at them. There is an echoing quality to the stone all around that makes them seem even more monolithic. The windows of vibrant blue sky seen through them... More

This is another beautiful arch in the park, but everyone seems to want to climb as high as they can and have a friend or family member take a photo (or take a selfie). This clutter can be very frustrating for some wanting to photograph nature.

This is an easy to get to location and has the Double Arch and also a couple of other arches nearby. There are lots of people here and the best viewing may be in the late morning or early afternoon because of the shadows.

I thought Double Arch was the coolest arch that I saw in the park. You get to climb inside of it and look up at the sky through it. It is a really short simple hike from the parking lot (where you can easily see it from) that makes it very accessible, which I thought was great. Definitely don't miss... More

Much of the trail is over rock and we took a wrong turn and missed the Double Arch on the outbound portion. Lots of arches on this trail.

Arches is a must. It doesn’t matter who you’re with, how old they are or if they’re into geology, Arches National Park is a standout in the natural world rankings, wowing everybody who makes their way past the obligatory national park sign. Not only can you spend a few hours here without booking a tour – we did – it’s... More

This is a great arch and it's huge so definitely a must see. It's a 5 min walk from the parking lot so it's not a great experience getting there (like delicate arch) but still a must see.
