Beautiful! Stunning! Fantastic views!! It is a must stop on your vacation! The weather did not cooperate on our visit to Badlands - it was overcast so we couldn't enjoy the true beauty of the various colors. Nevertheless, it was still a worth the trip.

Badlands Wall is a 60 mile long geological formation. The Loop scenic drive follows along the Wall and one gets many different perspectives at the dozen overlooks. For me, one of the best places to take a picture from a perspective looking like a dramatic wall is from the visitor center.
I have not heard of the Wall, but honestly it doesn’t matter, you will forget about it when you get on the road. Just drive and stop when you find a place you like. Then move on to another. It’s all beautiful
