Great scenery. Took us maybe an hour to drive through, one way. There was snow and a little ice every so often, but really not too bad. We entered on the west side and ended up at the visitor center where we got out and...More

I added on a vacation to see the Badlands along with a trip to Mt. Rushmore. I had stopped at Wall, SD (and visited their Drug Store and Complex) prior to my visit, then went south to the Badlands. At first I'm thinking, this is...More

What an amazing place. We traveled through in an RV and camped in the National park. Early morning hike before the heat of the day was amazing, you have to see the colors yourself!

Badlands National Park A Fall Visit As beautiful a vista as a person can experience. The adjectives wild, rugged, untamed, majestic and beautiful all apply. In the fall the weather proves unpredictable. You must have clothing for warm or cold weather. Dressing in layers is...More

This whole place is beautiful and this area is no exception. Beautiful landscape with a towering "wall". If you're an artist, this is a great area to draw, paint, take pictures, or anything else you can do to remember this area of the park.

Take a break from talk of the southern border wall and enjoy the geological feature that makes the Badlands so fabulous. Scenery is stunning in any season!

I don't remember this wall much except to say that any thing that stands out in this park has to be truly outstanding.

I knew the Badlands were cool, but even with the cold and rainy weather during our trip, the sights were amazing. We can’t wait to take our kids with us to hike through the formations!

Beautiful! Stunning! Fantastic views!! It is a must stop on your vacation! The weather did not cooperate on our visit to Badlands - it was overcast so we couldn't enjoy the true beauty of the various colors. Nevertheless, it was still a worth the trip.

I have not heard of the Wall, but honestly it doesn’t matter, you will forget about it when you get on the road. Just drive and stop when you find a place you like. Then move on to another. It’s all beautiful
