If you enter the Badlands National Park through the northeast entrance, this will be the first real overlook you encounter. Everyone stops and everyone is awed! There are also a couple of short hiking trails in this area leading from the overlook parking lot. Great...More

Travelling to the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore, we were driving along and saw a sign for an overlook for the Badlands. As I crested the ridge, the landscape changed. The Badlands are indescribable. You have to see it to comprehend it.
