After a day of snow we were keen to get out and walk and the Queens Garden/ Navajo trail was what we were looking forward to. Starting at sunrise point we descended down into the Canyon awestruck by the beauty and diversity of the landscape. The path wends its way between the hoodoos and through the rocks, literally, before it... More

My wife and I recently hiked this trail in Bryce National Park and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The trail was of modest difficulty and involved walking into, through, and then out of the canyon. There were many opportunities for great pictures along the way. Make sure you take water with you.

We went clockwise, down Queen`s Garden and up Navajo Loop so the switchbacks are at the end of the trail. Thor`s hammer is just at the end where you are coming up to the top. It was spectacular and we just could not stop taking pictures.

This is a great hike down into the canyons. It's a loop trail so you can either go clockwise or counter clockwise. If you go clockwise you will have a long descent into the canyon then a fairly steep, short (half mile) ascent. For some reason, the rangers recommend this way. We chose do it counter clockwise so that the... More

You don't have to be perfectly fit to take this trail. It is not very tough. You walk from the top to the bottom and back up again, seeing some great formations and even one looking like the English queen! The whole trip can be done in about an hour, if you keep walking. Lots of places you can rest.

Relatively easy hike without too many steep descends, but proper hiking shoes with good traction are highly recommended. We took the wrong turn back and ended up at where the Wall Street trail was but that trail was closed; but we were glad we took the wrong turn and ended up there because that is a very peaceful spot with... We were a little worried about descending all the way to the canyon floor and then having to hike back up out of the canyon with an 8, 6, and 4 year old, but they did great. It is a beautiful hike, with plenty of places to stop and rest. The scenery changes so much over the 2.2 mile hike,... More

We were lucky to have got up early and watched the sunrise at Sunrise Point and then made our way to this hike. It was awesome. The hoodoos are like majestic cathedrals in the early light. It was SO quiet and we only met a few people. Breath-taking. Makes you glad to be alive. It is cooler in the early... More

My wife and I did this trail in about 3 hours. We walked from Sunset Point to Sunrise Point, and were lucky to enjoy good weather the whole time. The walk down is somewhat steep in places with several switchbacks, but the trail itself is fairly wide and smooth (i.e., no really rocky sections). This appears to be one of... More

Awesome hike down into the canyon among the hoodoo. The climb back out is quite strenuous. I recommend starting at sunset point and ascending at sunrise point. Dress in layers and take trekking poles.
