Neither my wife nor I had ever ridden a horse or mule before. My wife was definitely nervous. I had booked the 3 hour ride. The Cowboys spend time before the ride matching you with a horse or mule that matches your experience and it...More

We took the half day Peekaboo Loop Trail ride and I highly recommend it instead of the shorter rides on the rim. We rode way down in the hoodoos, which would have been a very long and strenuous hike - this was a great way...More

We went on the 4 hour horseback ride with trail guides Kitty and Dillon. The ride was absolutely phenomenal and the views were beyond incredible. Kitty and Dillon did a great job of telling stories and making you laugh. We would definitely go again. They...More

The scenery is magnificent!! It is much different than just driving and using the scenic lookouts. You are taken down to the canyon floor and walk around the hoodoos. The guides were excellent. One member of our party has a hard time walking etc. but...More

So we were a little put off by the several of the guides, at first...one was taking a leak in-between two mules when we walked up, and the one that "greeted" us was pretty grumpy and told us we were too early - sorry pal,...More

I highly recommend this adventure! We took the half day horseback riding adventure through Zion National Park. It was amazing to say the least. I got to ride Barbara, the lovely mule (I may be biased because I am pretty sure she is my spirit...More

After trying to walk down to the canyon and back; we decided to finish the trip with a horse ride. Very well run stable operation and good wranglers. They took the time to fit us to the proper horse and gave a little instruction. We...More

Hi we are thinking about reserving the 8a morning ride next week but dont want to feel rushed getting there on time. My question is will the shuttle get us there in time or should we plan to drive? It will be our first morning there so I know we need to get park pass etc. we are staying at Best Western lodge. Thank you

I don't know the shuttle schedule but be advised that you have to check in at the lodge NLT 30 minutes before the ride time. There is about a 10 minute walk to the corral from the lodge.

What is the shortest ride offered on the Canyon Trail Rides? I have absolutely no experience riding a horse/mule. Will this be a problem?
