Very nice views. Canyonlands is not very dog friendly. They are allowed on leash in parking lots and campgrounds only. They are not allowed on the sidewalks going to the overlooks or in a vehicle on the trails.

The Orange Cliffs Overlook offers breathtaking views of the Canyon. Definitely worth a stop when on the way to the grand viewpoint.

If memory serves me correctly, there was not a paved parking area for this overlook. It seems we had to park alongside the road. That being said, the view was phenomenal. certainly one of the best on the Island in the sky road.
