I spent the weekend before July 4th in the Canyonlands region. Since it was summer time, I think the heat makes a lot of people avoid this area - I personally enjoyed the solitude. Travelling down the White Rim trail, you get to see amazing...More

I visited Canyonlands a year ago and looked down from the Island In The Sky's viewpoints and was fascinated by what I saw 1,500 ft. below me on the White Rim and the little road that skirted around it. I looked down from Grand View...More

This trail is a great mountain biking trail. I suppose it would also be good for 4x4 vehicles. Take plenty of water or have a support vehicle.

My wife and I hiked this trail right after lunch on a Friday in early October 2016. This trail was not crowded, since sunset is its prime time. We were able to park easily and encountered very few people when we hiked. The view at...More
