We road the White Rim over the course of four days this year. Was one more day than typical. The slower pace meant that the group stopped to look and explore the route. Makes for an amazing family friendly adventure.

We rented a jeep in Moab so I could follow my bicycle loving daughter and her equally bicycle loving husband on the White Rim trail. They made it the whole 97 miles in 11 hrs. Because I was following in the jeep, they did not...More

I spent the weekend before July 4th in the Canyonlands region. Since it was summer time, I think the heat makes a lot of people avoid this area - I personally enjoyed the solitude. Travelling down the White Rim trail, you get to see amazing...More

I visited Canyonlands a year ago and looked down from the Island In The Sky's viewpoints and was fascinated by what I saw 1,500 ft. below me on the White Rim and the little road that skirted around it. I looked down from Grand View...More

This trail is a great mountain biking trail. I suppose it would also be good for 4x4 vehicles. Take plenty of water or have a support vehicle.

We did part of this trail on foot as part of a 4-day backpacking adventure and really enjoyed it. We joined the road where it meets the turnaround point for Wilhite Trail and stuck with it until the turnoff for Upheaval Dome. Therefore, we were...More

We experienced the MOST WONDERFUL 5 days following the White Rim Trail with our Land Rover securely piloting us along the beautifully barren rocky roads. Cliff edges plummeting 100's of feet below graced the roadway miles at a time. Our breath was taken away too...More

In some ways, this park rivals the Grand Canyon because you have more clarity in the views. it's nice not to have the crowds. easy trail and views forever

In preparation for this trip, I read heaps of reviews and watched an embarrassing amount of youtube videos. I felt like that did help but let me add some thoughts with the hope of helping others. We took the clockwise route, starting at Shafer Trail...More

Hi, I don't know if this is trip is on your radar but I'll share a few thoughts. If you have a few hours, I'd go down Shafer Trail and turn out on Potash Road or go as far as Musselman Arch and then turn around and exit out... More
