Stunning overlook of the Green River below you. It seems a lot of people miss this overlook when they visit Canyonlands NP as every time I've visited, I haven't seen any other cars in the parking lot. A must do if you're in the park.

This view point offers a great place to see the way the Green River has carved its way through several layers of earth. The access is available to most and does not require great conditioning.

This is a pullout stop and the view is a short walk from the parking lot. My husband and I sat on the rocks off to the side and enjoyed the view for about an hour. It is spectacular and is so vast and still...More

Well thought out overlook with pleasant facilities and a great view of the area. There is a trail also. Busy and since it was noon everyone wanted to stop and eat there so we couldn't find a picnic table but we ate later elsewhere.

The park is clearly marked and the pullouts are great for stopping and viewing. It is easy to access and all the overlooks and worth a stop,

The overlook is just a short walk from the parking area, and worth the effort. Another stunning vista, with the Green River winding way down below.

The Green River Overlook is definitely one that should never be missed. Walk from car park to the view point is 1 minute long, and the reward is extraordinary.

You've seen the pictures. Very short walk from parking to the vista. Can take an enjoyable rock scramble type walk around the top of the canyon here, enjoying the view the whole time - not hanging over edge so no worries about heights.

We decided to visit this overview while in Canyonlands and although the view may not be as impressive as in Grand Point View, it is still worth to see it. From car park to the overview may take you just 10 minutes, so you do...More
