This is definitely a place everyone should have on their bucket list. We did the hike into the cave via the natural entrance and took the elevator out. The whole hike took us about three hours as we stopped for lunch at the snack bar...More

Our family of five (kids ages 10, 8, and 6) All loved this place. It is definitely in the middle of nowhere but is totally worth it. We slept in Lovington and headed to the Caverns for a 9 am tour. The 90 minute ranger...More

This is a must see NP! I love a park that offers something you just can't find anywhere else! We did the big room tour with a group from 12-68 years old. Even my mom having two hip replacements could do the full loop, however...More

Spent the afternoon there. Visitor center nicely laid out, and very clean. Did the walk down to the great room. Glad I did, but the great room on it’s own is what it is all about. Stayed for the evening program of the bats flying...More

All aspects of the room were great. The scenery was beautiful and my grand children totally enjoyed this.

In the middle of nowhere this is worth the time it takes to get there. One of the wonders of the world.

Not really a big fan of going into caves - but this is absolutely a 'must visit' place. The size of the main cavern is just hard to imagine unless you see it. Pictures could never accurately depict it. A mile walkway takes you in...More

First the cave and it’s vastness can not be shared with a picture. It is amazing and we went with my mom who is in a wheelchair and she still was able to see the best parts. I highly recommend this visit for anyone traveling...More

Six of us visited on May 31. Mother Nature constructed another natural wonder. The US Park Service does a really good job of managing the resource. It is a long walk down to the lower cavern. The walkway is highly maintained with some lights for...More

We were there 4 hours total with an hour 45 spent waiting for the elevator back to the top because only one of the two 8-person elevators was working. At some point in the undetermined future, a 16-person elevator will be put into service. But...More

Yes and I would bring the wheelchair. They have a elevator you can use to go down and back up to the Big room area. It is too steep to walk down and takes about an hour. You will enjoy it. While your there the restaurant in... More

I wasn't aware of those tours. We did the complete walking tour. You enter from the outside and see parts of the cave that those who take the elevator do not. We thought that was the best.
