Unlike most national parks, you don't have to sit in your car and wait to enter. They have a big parking lot and air-conditioned visitor's center where you can check in and pay for entry. That is a nice feature in this hot park! They...More

A small museum and visitors centre with fairly interesting exhibits, but that's about it, so not particularly worth a stop...

You can buy tickets, get maps and all necessary info and guidance in this visitor center. A 3D solid map is available to check and plan your itinerary. We had only one day and asked the information desk how we can utilize it best.

No better no worse than the typical visitor centre. Maps of the area, souveniers, limited snacks and drinks. All cold drinks were warm at best.

Small, yet very informative visitor center. Very good exhibition explaining what is Death Valley all about. Small souvenir store on the premises. Clean and neat toilets.

As visitor centers go, this is a good one -- lots of interesting displays, as well as food and souvenirs for purchase, and this is one of the places where you can buy your pass (though I'd recommend buying it almost anywhere else you're able...More

You are litereally in the middle of nowhere. It is a little small as national park visitor centers go but still very nice. Worth a stop

We stopped in to get advice for lunch (go to the Furnace Creek Inn) and to learn more about the area. We watched the movie, and I might have stayed in the theater a few extra minutes to catch a catnap in the a/c. The...More

The items were very expensive and the food was very limited. Ready made sandwiches in a fridge. But the information display table was cool!

Very nice folks here. Great information. Easy to get in and out of. Nice place to get out of the car and stretch your legs.

I'm sorry but I cannot provide your requested quote. I would recommend calling the Visitor Center, but I have not found a way to talk to a live person using their phone number. I would suggest contacting the Death Valley... More

It was open a month ago, when we were there. Our tour guide did not mention anything about the center being (or to be) closed.
