Good for a rest room stop or gift shop. They have some exhibits of the desert. Friendly staff. Worth the time for a quick stop.

Well laid out and wheelchair friendly. The 20 minute film was good. They had interesting and informative exhibits and videos. A nice little gift shop. Clean accessible bathrooms.

Very nice staff at this National Park visitor's center. There are video and interactive displays explaining this very unique region of the world. The requisite gift shop of course, but a nice cool place to fill one's water bottle is a big plus.

A welcome break to stretch your legs in an air conditoned room. There is a museum for a fee but we did not enter. Toilets, Bottle fill up stations and the much photographed iconic large outside thermometer; 117F when we were there!

On an excessively hot day (125 F, 52C) we were grateful to seek refuge in the air conditioned visitor centre where we enjoyed the exhibition, stocked up with cold bottles of water at $1 a bottle and were even able to have our picnic on...More

It was open a month ago, when we were there. Our tour guide did not mention anything about the center being (or to be) closed.
