Paddled some of this waterway as part of an 8-day kayak tour that also took in Florida Bay and the beaches of the Gulf.

We didn't kayak independently but took a small boat tour into the Everglades. Really worth it. We recommend the trip out from the Ranger station outside of Everglade City.
