The Visitor Center at Apgar is quite nice and accommodating to visitors. Guess that's obvious but not all places are! Each time we drive to the Park as we call it, we stop at Apgar. If you happen to be there when they have the...More

A good place to start your visit to Glacier National Park, if you are coming in from West side. A good place to buy souvenirs of Glacier. Also good place for bathroom break before starting into Park. You can also catch Shuttle Buses here.

Visited here during recent wildfires and the staff were rushed off their feet explaining road closures, routes and options to tourists. Staff were patient and helpful throughout even when faced with some very rude people. Great information, facilties and a nice gift shop.

Like most national park visitor centers, this one has rangers who are available to answer questions. They also have a gift shop and restrooms. Great place to stop and get your bearings before venturing out on a hike or drive through the park.

The visitor center is nice and has lots of information about the park. The ranger was very informative about the closures due to the fires. It is always worth stopping at visitor centers for help and info.

Even though it closes, the bathrooms remain open and they are clean. The folks manning the desk are very knowledgeable about the area and are eager to share and help.

We went there to catch the Red Bus, but they also are the starting point for the free shuttles. There is rest rooms, wifi and charging stations, rangers who are patient and informative, and gift shop.

We were not looking for information about hiking, but rather exhibits that would explain the topography and wildlife of the Park. We tried to stop at the visitor center located at Logan Pass, but there is inadequate parking and went on to the east entrance...More

Check to see if there is a free shuttle. Too far to walk.
