Great Rafting and Views

Go here if you are here in June/July. Rafting was fun and the water is so clear and cold. The river is deep and you can see train tracks and box cars down there from the 1960s.

We unknowingly stopped at the boat launch area for the middle fork. Evidently the river must be much higher at other times since when we were there even a raft would be boucing along on rocks because the river was so low. It was pretty there.

The rafting company was very organized and experienced. I felt totally safe the whole way. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. We went in August - but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. We were rained on for most of the two hour ride. Be warned to take a waterproof jacket and some water shoes - you... More

Great company. I noticed they try and put fewer people in the raft for a better experience. We only had 5 total so I really was involved in powering the boat. They have the blue rafts. I noticed the yellow rafts were packed with eight or more people. Very well organized and professionally run. The level of rapids depends on... More

Great way to spend some time watching rafters go drifting by. Get the right location and capture the Rapids and their impact on the rafters. Beautiful nature as well.

Took a half day white water rafting trip. It was amazing. Doc, our guide, is the best! He was obviously a highly qualified guide, very knowledgeable about the river conditions and shared lots of historical facts about the area. He obviously loves his job and takes the safety of the guests very seriously.

Slow down, let the locals pass, and view this awesome river as you visit Montana. Unfortunately the river was very low this time of year do to the lack of rain. . but nice anyway

Glacier Rafting Co. folks are the best !!!! Next year you must book a rafting trip with them. We went in August, the water was down but we still had lots of fun. The water was beautiful and clear, we saw fish on the bottom and beautiful rocks. The scenery was awesome on both sides of the river. Our guides... More

A lovely drive along a beautiful river. I would love to come back and do it again. It's quite swift in some places.
