The best hike we did at Glacier National Park!!! It's a "must" do. Start early when it's cooler and bring plenty of snacks and water. Plan on 5-6 hours to complete hike. Going up takes longer than going down. The views are breathtaking!! Lakes, waterfalls,...More

Let me just say this was a very difficult and strenuous hike for us. It took us 3 1/2-4 hours to get to the top. It will take around 6 hours round trip. Go early so you're not stuck hiking down in total darkness. It...More

The view was amazing. I loved the Grinell lake view from the top. Please carry a lot of water as the trek is around 11 miles roundtrip. Definitely worth it!!

This amazing hike has it all: beautiful views, waterfalls, wildlife (we saw moose and rams) and of course the glacier! From the Many Glacier Lodge, it's 5.5 miles and 1200 feet up. Took about 2.5 hours or so. Spent a good hour at the glacier,...More

This is the most beautiful hike I have ever experienced. It is rated as "strenuous" but if you take your time it's not hard. Plenty of renting places along the way with water falls, flowers and wild life. The glaciers are melting and won't be...More

Fantastic hike that has something for everybody. The long trail is about 10 miles roundtrip but you don't need to do it all to enjoy it. The views of all the lakes along the way are beautiful and the fields are brimming with colorful flowers....More

Took mom back for amazing visit. Moose, bear, hours of hiking. Gorgeous! Take the boats over and hike to Lake 1.4 miles. Hike back if desired 2.5 miles. Level trains except the short distance between the lakes.

We took the 2 boat ride, skipping the first mile+ of trail through the forrest. We joined on a Ranger guided climb up to the Glaciers, Grinnell and Salamander. Vistas, wildflower, wild life, all beyond our hope. This is a challenging 8+ mile hike, some...More

Good hike, take plenty of water and enjoy your time there. There is a restaurant near the trail head. Road to Many Glaciers area is very bad. Low profile cars will get beat up

We hiked the Grinnell Glacier trail in early July, unfortunately we were only able to get as close as the waterfalls, the final mile was closed due to dangerous steep snow fields. Still it was a lovely trail, rugged and fairly challenging, especially if you...More

You can. But if you are able to walk I would strongly suggest taking the walk around the lake at Many Glacier. You see some amazing sights in the back. You can also take the scenic boat tour which has a short walk between... More
