I went to the Grand Canyon through a agency’s travel to work, improve my English and know new cultures. I travel with my sister, cousins and friends. This experience was unique because it was the first time I worked. I worked in a restaurant in the buffet area and sometimes I did overtime in other areas but in the same... More

We explored the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon area. We also explored it in the Parker, Arizona area, as well as Laughlin and Bullhead, Nevada. There is river rafting in the Grand Canyon Area. This was our first visit to the Parker Arizona section of the Colorado River. This is an interesting area to visit. There are wild burros.... More

Rafting the Colorado River through The Grand Canyon is the absolute ultimate adventure which any healthy individual can do. It is at times terrifying, always awe inspiring, yet as safe as other outdoor activities like skiing. You can take motorized 7 day trips of the full Grand Canyon, but we went in 5 person (4 plus the rower/guide) rubber rafts... More

It could be considered foolish not to raft or go by Dory down the entire length of the Grand Canyon at least once before we meet our maker whatever your belief we should all agree on this adventure. The colossal landscapes breathtaking scenery amazing fauna, water and hikes up the side Canyon, gazing at the stars sleeping on deserted beaches... More

We rafted from Pines Beach (mile 88) to Diamond Creek (mile 226). Amazing. We started with Horn Creek rapid and an immediate 10 foot drop, Granite, and Crystal. But the real highlight was Lava Falls (around mile 180). The rafting guides respect Lava Falls. It is not a joke to them. The head guide kissed Vulcan Anvil for good luck.... More

The upper Arizona part of the Colorado River is responsible for carving the Grand Canyon. There are some of the world's best rapids along this route and people come from all over to raft the river. The lower part that forms the border between California and Arizona is a little more tranquil (although there are exciting stretches of rapids) and... More

Having visited the Grand Canyon and travelled down the Colorado River a few years ago, we were excited to cross the River at Needles CA on our way from Flagstaff to Pomona. The river was clean and cold just like in the canyon. We stopped in the little town of Needles which is part of Historic Route 66. Many buildings... More
