It is a short jaunt to the point from the parking lot. It is beautiful to see the immense canyon. What makes it nice is there are a few benches that you can just sit and reflect and enjoy nature at her best. If you...More

Everywhere you go at the North Rim the views are fantastic. This is about 11 mile drive from the North Rim Lodge but once there you can see the views from the parking area. Worth a visit

From Point Imperial you see the northern part of the Grand Canyon and the plateaus beyond it. There is also a trail from here, and there are bathrooms.

You can see the beginning of the Grand Canyon from the North, at the highest elevation for an overlook. A must see.

Long winding road but climbing up to the view a Point Imperial is great. Arrive early or the parking lot will probably be full.

Well worth the time. HOWEVER, we drove all the way out the park looking for the road, don't think it's marked from lodge. We did return, drove to the end, took the turnouts on the return. Amazing views

What a wonderful culmination of our Cape Royal drive. You just can't become jaded to the outstanding far vistas at North Rim, and the highest point in the entire canyon is no exception. You just drive up, park, get out and let your breath be...More
