Jenn McCarthy was outstanding! She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and prepared a delicious lunch! She was also very encouraging to a member of my family who was struggling with the ascent up the Kaibib trail. She made our Grand Canyon trip very memorable and enjoyable!

There is no easy hiking in the Grand Canyon. Best bet would be to hire a guide.

You would have to ask them. There is a meeting the night before in Flagstaff which is helpful. If they haven't even met you or discussed logistics I think it would slow things down at the trailhead.
