Enjoyed leaving at 0415 from Grand Canyon Lodge to view the sunrise. Temp was 27 degrees with cool breeze out of the North so we dressed in multiple layers. This is the only place on the North Rim that you can see the Colorado River....More

This drive was a highlight of our visit to the North Rim, for the views each side of the road as well as the destination itself. The Aspens had turned yellow and made a stunning contrast to the burned black trees. Photo heaven! I was...More

This is one of the most scenic drives you will ever take. There are pull offs along the way so you can get out an take pictures. Plenty of formations and beautiful vistas.A must see if you have a vehicle.

Really, if you are at the Canyon, you must take this drive and stop at all the lookouts. You don't have to hike to enjoy the Canyon but can walk a short distance to the lookouts and enjoy the stunning scenery.
