What a great place to see the sunset over the canyon. Right off of the hermit road with ample parking but I'd recommend getting here 1/2 an hour or so early for a great spot to view the sun setting.

By the time we reached Hopi Point, we were feeling overwhelmed with canyon views. However, this was by far the most scenic view on the South Rim. Another tourist walked up to us and shared a similar opinion. Stunning.

This is by far the most expansive, amazing viewpoint in the park. It is stupendous. It’s also perfect for sunset viewing. In the winter months you can drive straight there, making it more convenient. In the summer it requires a shuttle and it’s very busy...More

This is just one view in a long list of amazing stops at the Grand Canyon. Can't say that it was my favorite, but definitely worth a rest and several pictures.

We took the red bus route to get to Hopi Point, it was just to far for us to walk. The view if beautiful and it's the start of the trail to the bottom of the canyon. There is lots of evidence of mule rides...More

One of the better views of the canyon - although every view point has its own nuances of splendor. Be sure to walk along the rim from here.

Sorry for late reply. The free shuttle bus that travels over the park will go to Hopi Point. It's the Red line from memory.
