Great Basin NP is located in Baker, NV. There are several campgrounds at this park, but not a lodge. It is one of the least visited National Parks, maybe because of the remote location and severe winters. The cave, however, in a gem! They offer...More

Lehman Caves is a hidden gem in Great Basin National Park. The cave is not as big or flashy as the better known caves like Mammoth or Cave of the Winds, but you get to be right next to the cave formations. Bring a flashlight...More

We have done several cave tours, and this one is a favorite! We finally made it to Kartchner Caverns, which is close to where we live, and felt that Lehman Caves were a better experience for us. We did the Grand Palace tour. It was...More

Spectacular views of many cave features including cave shields, cave popcorn, cave bacon, soda straws, stalactites, and stalagmites. It was a very interesting and informative tour. Love the stories of how Mr. Lehman found the caves and how he turned it into a tourist site....More

We've been in several caves with our kids, and Lehman is high on the list. Wide variety of formations, and the path is narrow enough and low enough (bending over for 6-foot-tall people) that it feels a little like a cave adventure while still having...More

The 90 minute cave tour was interesting and informative. The cave features were varied and beautiful. We were very glad we took the tour! Book early, they can sell out fast!

We took the 90 minute tour and enjoyed every minute. The cave was beautiful and very educational. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we couldn't stump him wth any questions about the cave or park. Definitely worth the price of admission!

Not tragic. I was worried!!! If you can get through a turnstile at Disneyland - even if it's sideways - you are good. Also - the 69 steps are not all at once - some up, some down, more or less in the middle of the... More
