Definitely worth the hike to see the lake. Make sure to bring plenty of water to drink along the way because it can get hot along the hike.

Delightful hike. Very high altitude. Weather can change on you. Be prepared. Good for children if you don't rush things.

The hike was gradually uphill. Saw deer and four turkeys on the way to Stella a Lake. There was a nice view of Wheeler Peak at Stella Lake! Loved the reflection of the mountain in the lake. Combine this hike with the Bristlecone Pine trail.

Can be combined with the Bristlecone tree trail nice stroller trough the woods. The Peak was nice to wee with the glacier.
