We hiked to the peak of Mt. LeConte from the Alum Cave. Breathtaking views the whole way up. Unfortunately, due to the clouds, we couldn't see much after getting to the peak. Still well worth the hike!

I thought I would only make it to the cave or the bluffs (half way up) but I made it all the way to the top of LeConte. I really thought it might just be a bit too scary and a bit too long. I...More

Mount LeConte was a strenuous hike but the views are so beautiful that it is definitely worth it. We took the Alum Cave trail which is 5.5 miles. It is the toughest trail to the summit but it has the best scenery so it is...More

Alum Cave to Le Conte is strenuous and as crowded as a Gatlinburg buffet, but it is well worth hiking just a part of the trail if that is all that you can do. Go very very early to get ahead of the crowds. Wednesdays are... More

I heard this week that the Boulevard is closed due to the fire. I am assuming that you can go to the Jumpoff.
