We stopped here to have lunch, and it was very nice. Cool, shady and quiet. We didn't see any wildlife, but there were a bunch of people around.

Great spot for a picnic. Easy to get to and close to downtown Gatlinburg. Plenty of spots to picnic down by the water.

This is a busy picnic area. You can put your feet in the water and just sit and listen to it for hours.

We had a nice picnic lunch one day while we were visiting Cherokee. It was so peaceful...just the sounds of the creek rushing over the rocks. Really nice there.

Hey Annsims; I'd say roughly 25 miles or so but the speed limit is lower so it may take 45 mins or more to get there. Totally worth it though!
