You can start your hike from Metcalf Bottoms Picnic area or drive up a very narrow gravel road and hike in from Greenbrier School. The hike does have hills. It is on a gravel road but no vehicle traffic beyond the school.

Round trip is just a little over 2 miles if you start at the schoolhouse. Road to schoolhouse is narrow so use caution. Be sure to read up on the Walker family history. Makes the area come to life.
