According to the National Park Service website for Lassen, the "Highway is open to Devastated Area from NW entrance (10 miles) and Bumpass Hell parking area (7 miles) from SW entrance." I suggest that you check the nps.gov... More

The trails are not all wide. At points you have to stop when others are passing. No scary ledges to fall off & if she's willing she'll enjoy it!
