If you come to Mammoth caves and want to do so hiking make sure to check this one out. It's different from the trails. There are stairs, but not to bad. I recommend going straight when you come to the loop.

Very short hike over a somewhat rough trail to a sink which shows how the water moves underground and into the cave. Interesting but not a big deal.

My husband & I hiked a handful of trails but I do know this was one of them. Great time, was a little hot that day - bring water! Great things to explore on your own. The trail was not rugged, pretty easy.

Too bad one if the busiest travel months is when construction was going on for two of the three trails we wanted to hike. The mosquitos were nasty too. Take lots of repellent and wear good sturdy shoes.

My grandkids and I did a lot of hiking as well as cave tours and they loved it~ This one had unique/unusual sites to see. Take bottled water if you do this in the summer as it got quite warm.

A nice walk in the woods with lots of steps up and down. Some of the steps were metal. We counted the longest one at 117 steps going up to the trail. There is no way to avoid the steps. Saw several varieties of purple...More

This is a quiet little trail. I wore flip flops as it was a last minute decision and it was just fine. There are some stairs to get to the bottom of the sink, but the trail is very well maintained. The sink wasn't as...More

We were looking for an easier hike and not too long with some interesting geography. Lovely walk through the trees on a well maintained trail. The sink hole, one of many in the area, was very interesting as I'd heard it happens often in Florida....More
