This is worth walking along if the weather is right. The river is wide in places but you are able to cross carefully in others. There is plenty to see and observe the interesting way it has cut into the countryside. There are places to...More

The Hoh River runs through the rain forest with the same name. At the time of our visit the water level was still a little low, still waiting on more spring run off. However, this did nothing to impair the clarity of the water. So...More

Loved this little trail - very easy, slight incline, and nicely manicured (but not "overly done") trail. The Hall of Mosses was really stunning. The stream running through was completely clear - not so much with the Hoh River itself. Had to take my hiking...More

We hiked two of the trails and spent some time in the visitors center to ask questions. The ranger helped us identify a fern we didn't know.

Quiet, beautiful- we saw 9 seals swimming in the surf. Amazing. You need to be able to climb over big rocks to access the beach, but it's worth it if you can.

When you arrive at Hoh Rain Forest, there is a hiking trail that takes you to the Hoh River. You can see the glacial silt flowing in it. Beautiful with the spruce trees, moss and ferns.

The river has incredible colors and great vegetation. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful location, check the river out. You will not be disappointed.

The Hoh River runs for 50 miles from the eastern slope of Mt Olympus north and then west to the sea, where it ends at the northern boundary of the Hoh Indian reservation. It is fed by glacier runoff and rain. On sunny days it...More

We did not expect the beauty on the way back to the Hoh Rainforest. The Hoh river is visible in many places and when we were there in June, there were gorgeous wildflowers along the road which contrasted beautifully with the powder blue river. Don't...More

Rafted down this river and was surprised by the lack of rain on us going down the river. The water is blue/turquoise and has a lot of wild life to see. Amazing experience.
