What a beautiful drive around the peninsula. We hiked the Quinault Rainforest Loop, the Hall of Mosses at Hoh Rainforest, and the trail to Sol Duc Falls. We also visited Ruby Beach and the Big Cedar Tree. The Kalaloch Tree of Life cave is a...More

This is one road trip I'll remember for the rest of my life. If you are a fan of temperate forests, giant conifers, waterfalls, lakes and the greenest of green forests, this road trip is a must. Mind you, just driving around the road might...More

Everything you want to see is off the road; you're just looking at trees, housing and glimpses of the lake or hwy 101. Not exciting but a good introduction to the different camp grounds and trail locations.

We rode our motorcycle for 5 days and went around the Washington coast (including the Olympic Peninsula Loop) twice; it is not crowded, service is available every 25 miles; there's good places to dine and/or picnic.

This is a must do when going to and from the various places within Olympic National Park. The scenic drive is relaxing and picturesque. There are plenty of places to pull over and enjoy the vistas. Must do!

There is a variety of landmarks and scenery along this loop. You pass rainforest, lakes, and the ocean. If you are touring the park, this is the route for you.

This road is the only road that connects the different portions of Olympia National Park. We were unaware of that there were no interconnecting roads inside of the park. HWY 101 is the only road that loops around the park. It can take hours to...More

It was a sunny spring day with a gentle wind when we journeyed on the loop drive. Beautiful views along the way and so peaceful. There are a few spots where the road narrows down to one lane and visibility is low, however, there is...More

When we came here we had done our homework, but still did not know what to expect. We enjoyed the varied scenery and are so glad to have experienced another part of our great country.

It really depends on what you like to do. This park is very diverse and doing 2-3 days you really wouldn't experience much, like hiking, vistas etc. But if all you have is 3 days, go for it and see what you see. Maybe... More
