We arrived around 11:00 am with our small children and visited the visitors center. Just to note, the weather forecast you get when you look up Hurricane Ridge is from the base I believe, NOT the peak. It dropped a good 30 degrees and we...More

Drove up from Seattle to do a few days hiking. Weather was gorgeous, after a morning of mist and drizzle. We hiked along the ridgeline toward what I think the locals said was suicide rock. I have to say that while the trail was mainly...More

Visit the information centers to get the entire story of the area. If you plan to hike the trails, give yourself time and a jacket as it's cooler at this elevation.

It's a windy road with just one lane in either direction and pretty steep slopes. It is better to leave your trailer at lake crescent lodge.
