It’s not the most impressive Visitor’s Center for a national park, but the rangers working there are as helpful as you could want. They’ll provide suggestions based on what you’re looking for, skill level, and available time. There are disappointingly no extensive exhibits inside, but there is a small gift shop. The building itself is dated and dark. Restrooms are... More

Although this Visitor Center could really use some NPS investment to bring it up to the caliber of others, it does the job of helping hikers and those heading out on the Trail Ridge Road to get oriented. Restrooms, maps, and a shuttle service stop are really what this one is about. It serves an enormous number of visitors so... More

Small by comparison to other national park visitor centers, it has a large theater that shows a 20 minute or so film on the Rocky Mountain National Park. The film is OK, covers the basis but nothing real special. The visitor center has decent facilities like bathrooms and some exhibits, and a relatively large parking lot though I'm sure it... More

I visited this past September and witnessed the annual Elk Rut, a bugling Elk is a sound you will never forget, I hope to make a return trip in the near future.

We went for some day hiking - having never been in the Park before. We got some guidance in Estes Park and then stopped here for details. The center was very busy (on Tues Sep 13). We had to wait on line for 15-20 minutes. The Rangers were helpful, informative and seemed to be moving along as quickly as possible... More

Small visitors center at the entrance of the rocky mt national park plenty of parking for every size. A small gift shop and Rangers to talk to. Some nice displays and restrooms. Not a lot there compared to other visitors centers. Friendly staff and clean facilities

We've stopped here many times over the years and always find something new in it. The rest room facilities are great - there are some in an out building so they are even useable after the center has closed - what a help!! The gift shop has great books as well as lots of other items and the center area... More

This was nice to stop at if you had any questions before entering the park. They were very friendly and also had a small shop.

Most of the Visitor Centers in RMNP are fairly small and do not have large staffs. Beaver Meadow Visitor Center is larger, and provides the level of service that compliments the park. The National Park Service will hopefully enlarge the other facilities to mirror the facilities and service offered at the Beaver Meadow facility.

A great place to stop and get information and maps of the park. The Rangers were very helpful. The displays were done very well.
