Not to be missed drive through pristine Sequoia forest. Late fall was a good time of year to visit with fewer crowds.

This is the only road through the park and is nicely paved. It is also very windy and I too was surprised with the high speed limit. You need to be very careful when planning your trip through the park because the weather can change quickly. If you are going for the day, you will probably enter either from the... More

Given the winding, 1 lane road I found the 45 MPH posted speed limit on the high side. A lot of people going 40 pulled off and let traffic go by. I'm not a slow driver but found myself thinking about the speed limit while driving and hasn't happened in a long time. Road is paved and well maintained but... More

Good Highway - goes thorugh the park. You could see diffenet kind of trees and both biggest (Sherman and Grant) trees. The road is good, regardless the time.

This was the first leg of our road trip we had squeezed in time to see the park. WE were not disappointed. Lots of people, quite busy which was a surprise but we thoroughly enjoyed it and again this cannot be describedwithout actually seeing the beauty.

Love the drive but you have to wonder how many turns there are on this trip. Great views and plenty of places to stop for pictures.

A beautiful drive through the park. But be prepared for the steepness of the road and the many hairpin turns. Our front wheel drive handled it great. Take your time and enjoy yourselves.

Those are the words my late mother said when we took this drive. I was driving, so I had to pay close attention to the road (and some of the insane speeding drivers on it) and couldn't enjoy the scenery as much as a passenger would, but what I did get to see was still pretty mindblowing as far as... Very very windy road, sun can glare into eyes, 95% is sheer cliff and no timid driver should attempt. Other drivers can be a little too fast approaching your veh. Beautiful and very high views.
